Prior to becoming a digital marketing strategist, I started my education and early career as a graphic design producer and then moved into marketing and business strategy. While I supported marketing and sales organizations in my day to day work, in my free time I learned how to custom code HTML, CSS, and implement WordPress sites with enough JavaScript and object-oriented programming to be dangerous and do basic front-end interactions.
In 2015 after 10 years in the graphics and traditional marketing world, I entered a digital interactive agency and it was an incredible opportunity for me to round out all of my prior training. I joined Standing Dog, a Dallas-based Interactive Digital Marketing Agency and learned SEO, SEM, tracking and reporting on results to executive management. For several years I managed client accounts in a variety of industries and clients and then moved into the real-estate department for Wpromote after Standing Dog was acquired. There I executed for large organizations on local lead generation accounts and was able to get first-rate experience supporting digital marketing growth strategy and execution. This allowed me to capitalize on my digital marketing knowledge to help clients succeed online.

This is my family band, the Cliftones. In 5 years, we played over 200 events throughout the Southeast in churches and community events, created two professional quality cd’s, and never paid to play. I managed all of it including booking, event coordination and management, design production, tradeshows, and social media campaigns.
Breckwell Hearth Products – traditional advertising, design, and marketing
Breckwell was in need of a rebrand for their long-standing, American-made product. During my time there, I managed all advertising and marketing and supported the National Sales Manager with management of new dealer and distributor relationships. I also created an alternate brand for entry into the B2C retail market. Company was sold shortly after my departure!
